This chapter may be known and may be cited as the "Village of Angola Conduct Law."
The purpose of this chapter is to prevent persons from engaging in loud, boisterous, threatening, abusive, insulting or indecent language or conduct or behavior breaching the public peace.
It shall be unlawful with intent to cause public nuisance, annoyance or alarm or recklessly creating a risk thereof to engage in fighting or in violent or threatening behavior or to make unreasonable noise or uses abusive or obscene language or an obscene gesture or creates a hazardous or offensive condition by an act which serves no legitimate purpose.
A person violating the provisions of this chapter shall be subject to a fine or penalty not to exceed $250 or imprisonment not to exceed 15 days, or both.
