The regular meetings of the city council shall be held on the first and third Mondays in each month, at seven p.m., in the City Hall, 260 North Third Avenue, Oakdale, California.
Whenever the date of any regular meeting falls upon a legal holiday, the meeting shall be held on the next succeeding day at the aforesaid hour and place.

The official bond of the city clerk is fixed in the sum of five thousand dollars.

No person, who is a paid employee of the city, either full-time or part-time, may also be a member of the city council or be mayor, and upon election of such person to the office of councilmember or mayor in the city, and upon the taking of such person of the oath of office, the previous position held with the city shall be forthwith vacated.
