The Illinois Vehicle Code, 625 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/1-101 et seq., as amended, is hereby adopted and incorporated into this title by reference and shall be applicable in the City the same as if each provision of the said Illinois vehicle code were specifically set forth at length herein. Three copies of the Illinois Vehicle Code are on file in the office of the City Clerk for public use and inspection.

Any person who violates any provision of the Illinois Vehicle Code, as amended and as the same has been adopted as a part of this City code, within the City, shall be subject to the penalties provided in Title 1, Chapter 1-4, of this Code.
