The Town voted to establish, under the provisions of MGL c. 40, § 8D, an Historical Commission of the Town of Erving for the purposes and with the rights and duties provided by law, to be composed of five members appointed by the Select Board for terms of three years, with appointments and terms staggered so that the terms of one or two members expire each year.
