[1971 Code § BH7-1; New]
A Code regulating and controlling the location construction and operation of public swimming pools and other recreational bathing places, such as bathing beaches, hot tubs, spas and wading pools, is hereby establish pursuant to N.J.S.A. 26:3-69.1 to 26:3-69.6. A copy of the Code is annexed hereto and made a part hereof without the inclusion of the text herein.

The Code established and adopted by this chapter is described and commonly known as Chapter 11 of the New Jersey State Sanitary Code, "Public Recreational Bathing, 2000."
[1971 Code § BH7-3; New]
Three copies of Chapter 11 of the New Jersey State Sanitary Code, "Public Recreational Bathing, 2000" have been placed on file in the offices of the Borough Clerk in Borough Hall for the use and examination of the public.
[1971 Code § BH7-4]
No person shall locate and construct, alter or operate a swimming pool until a permit therefore shall have been issued by the County Health Officer.
[1971 Code § BH7-5; New]
The following fees and charges are herewith established:
a. 
For the issuance of a permit to locate and construct a swimming pool, $300.
b. 
For the issuance of a permit to alter a swimming pool, $75.
c. 
For the issuance or renewal of a permit to operate a swimming pool, $50.
[1971 Code § BH7-6]
Permits issued for the operation of a swimming pool shall expire annually on May 31 of each year and application for renewal thereof shall be submitted together with the required fee prior to May 1 of each year.

Permits required by this chapter or Code may be denied or suspended by the County Health Officer for failure to comply with this chapter or Code.
The County Health Officer shall afford the person whose permit to locate and construct, alter or operate has been denied or suspended an opportunity to be heard in public hearing; and following this to be informed of the decision of the County Health Department.
