Village officers and employees may reside outside the Village
of Monticello, but must reside within the County of Sullivan.

The Code Enforcement Officer of the Village of Monticello must
reside in the County of Sullivan or any county that is adjacent to
or abuts the county.

Editor's Note: Former Art. VI, Deputy Village Manager, consisting of §§ 45-16 through 45-19, which immediately preceded this section, adopted 2-20-2007 by L.L. No. 4-2007, as amended, was repealed 5-19-2008 by L.L. No. 3-2008. Subsequently, L.L. No. 1-2010, adopted 4-20-2010, added a new Art. VI, Deputy Village Manager, but L.L. No. 1-2010 was repealed 9-2-2014 by L.L. No. 4-2014.
