Town of Secaucus, NJ Article III Permit Required for Meadowlands Exposition Center Events

§ 73-25 Permit requirements; fees.

A. No person or entity shall hold an event at the Meadowlands Exposition Center without first obtaining a permit;

B. To obtain a permit, the applicant must agree to two fire inspections, and must pay a fee of $250.

§ 73-26 Inspections.

The first inspection shall take place prior to the commencement of the event, while the second inspection shall take place at some time during the same event.

§ 73-27 Issuance, suspension, violations.

A. The permit shall be issued after the first inspection if the inspection reveals compliance with the New Jersey Uniform Fire Code;

B. Should any subsequent inspection disclose any violations of the Uniform Fire Code, the town may suspend the permit until said violations are rectified;

C. If the permit is suspended, the event shall also be suspended until the violations are rectified.

§ 73-28 Enforcing agency.

The Bureau of Fire Prevention is designated as that officer/employee responsible for enforcement of the conditions of this Article.
