A. 
It shall be the duty of the owner or owners of buildings occupied as residences by one family or more, when the owners have agreed to supply heat either by written, oral or implied contract, to provide heat from the first day of October in each year to the first day of May in the succeeding year, or whenever the outside air temperature falls below fifty-five degrees Fahrenheit (55° F.). During such times the owner or owners shall provide a minimum of sixty-eight degrees Fahrenheit (68° F.).

B. 
It shall be the duty of the owner or owners of a building occupied as mercantile space (office and selling) or places of assembly (i.e. theaters, auditoriums, etc.), when the owner or owners have agreed to supply heat either by written, oral or implied contract, to provide heat from the first day of October in each year to the first day of May in the succeeding year, or whenever the outside air temperature falls below fifty-five degrees Fahrenheit (55° F.). During such times the owner or owners shall provide a minimum of sixty-eight degrees Fahrenheit (68° F.) during all working hours.

A. 
It shall be the duty of the owner or owners of buildings occupied as residences by one family or more to provide a safe supply of potable water meeting the standards as set forth in Potable Water Standards as published by the New Jersey State Department of Health.
B. 
The source of such water supply shall be approved by the New Jersey State Department of Health and/or the Secaucus Board of Health.

A. 
It shall be the duty of the owner or owners of buildings occupied as residences by one or more families, when the owners have agreed to supply hot water, either by oral or written contract, to supply hot water at a minimum temperature of no less than one hundred twenty degrees Fahrenheit (120° F.).
B. 
Every kitchen sink, lavatory, bathtub and/or shower installed under the requirements of this chapter shall be connected to both hot- and cold-water lines.

The minimum rate of flow of hot or cold water issuing from a faucet or fixture, as required by this chapter, shall not be less than one gallon per minute.

All water required to be supplied by provisions of this chapter shall be supplied for a twenty-four hour period each day.
It shall be lawful for any member of the Health Department of the Town of Secaucus, or the officers or agents thereof, or members of the Police or Volunteer Fire Department of Secaucus to make inspection and examination of any building wherein a violation has been reported and no person or persons shall interfere with or obstruct such inspection.

The term "all working hours" as used in this chapter, unless otherwise provided by contract, shall mean the usual business hours established and maintained in a building or portion thereof.

Any person violating or failing to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable by a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $500 in the discretion of the Judge. The continuation of such violation for each successive day shall constitute a separate offense, and the person or persons allowing or permitting the continuance of the violation may be punished as provided above for each separate offense.
