Certified Copies of birth certificates, marriage certificates, death certificates, civil union certificates or domestic partnership certificates: $10.00/ea.

Burial permits: $5.00

The purpose of this section is to establish policies and procedures for the collection of fees and reimbursement of expenses associated with the performance of marriage or civil union ceremonies by the Mayor of the Borough of Allentown.

a. 
Collection of Fees. Persons seeking to be married or joined in civil union by the Mayor of the Borough of Allentown shall remit a fee of $325 for such services performed at Borough Hall and $450 for such services performed at locations outside of Borough Hall. All fees shall be discounted 25% for veterans of the United States military and/or anyone deemed by the Department of Veterans Affairs to have sustained a service-connected disability.
b. 
Compensation and Reimbursement of Fees.
1. 
Receipt of Fees. The fee shall be paid by check payable to the Borough of Allentown. Fees collected shall be deposited into the Borough's current fund.
2. 
Disbursement of Fees. Fees for such services may be disbursed to the Mayor through appropriate budget line item(s) and with appropriate authorization(s).
3. 
Reimbursement of Expenses. The Mayor may also be reimbursed for out-of-pocket expenses incurred in the performance of such services, but only for direct cost reimbursements or other expenses documented by receipts. All reimbursements shall be provided by voucher with appropriate documentation, authorization, and expenditure from the appropriate budget line item.
