This article shall not apply to emergency vehicles nor vehicles of the Township, County of Lehigh or the commonwealth being utilized for maintenance, observation, construction, repairs or enforcement. Parking permit exemptions shall be provided in the area designated for access to a residence located on Cove Road. The Township-issued parking permit shall be displayed in the vehicle so as to be easily visible by enforcement officers on Cove Road.
Signs shall be posted within the Township at appropriate places advising persons of the prohibition against parking on either side of Cove Road.

Any person, persons, firm, corporation or organization who shall violate any section or provision of this article shall be subject to having said vehicle towed at the expense of such person, persons, firm, corporation or organization and, further, shall be subject to a summary offense and, upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of $50.
Any law enforcement officer of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania shall implement the enforcement of this article.
