By virtue of the provisions of Chapter 21 of the Public Laws of 1946 (N.J.S. 40:49-5.1), the Private Campgrounds Code, as approved by the Departments of Health and Conservation and Economic Development and filed in the Secretary of State's office on March 3, 1964, is hereby accepted, adopted and established as a standard to be used as a guide in determining whether campground dwellings, as well as their facilities, located in this municipality are safe, sanitary and fit for human habitation and rental. The Code is adopted in its entirety except as hereinafter modified. A copy of the Private Campgrounds Code is annexed to this chapter by reference, and three copies of the same have been placed on file in the office of the Township Clerk and are available to all persons desiring to use and examine the same.

The following sections of the Private Campgrounds Code are hereby amended, added or deleted as indicated:
A. Section 4.9, Occupancy Limit, is amended to read as follows:
"4.9 Occupancy Limit.
a. 
Occupancy of any campsite in any particular campground by the same person or persons shall not be permitted for more than 15 consecutive days in any month from October 1 to May 1.
b. 
Except during May, June, July, August and September, unoccupied camping units and equipment shall not be permitted to remain on any campsite. During the months of November through April said camp units or equipment may be stored at a designated storage area on the campground."

Permit fees shall be paid in accordance with Chapter 8 - Fees.

Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this section or the Code adopted hereby shall, upon conviction, be liable to the penalty stated in Chapter 1, Section 1-5.

As used in this section:
TRAILER OR CAMP CAR
Shall mean any vehicle used or constructed or intended for use for conveyance upon public streets or highways, so designed, constructed or reconstructed that it can be used as, or as to permit its occupancy as, a dwelling, living or sleeping place for one or more persons, whether self-propelled or non- self-propelled and whether same shall be standing on wheels, foundations, jacks or skirting.

a. 
It shall be unlawful within the limits of the Township of Green for any person to park any trailer or camp car on any street, road, avenue or highway or other place or tract of land, whether publicly or privately owned, occupied or unoccupied, except as provided in this section.
b. 
Emergency or temporary stopping or parking is permitted on any street, road, avenue or highway for not longer than three hours. No trailer or camp car while so parked within the limits of the Township of Green shall be used by any person as a dwelling house, place of abode or sleeping place.
c. 
It shall be unlawful within the limits of the Township of Green for any person to park or occupy any trailer on the premises of any occupied dwelling, except that the parking of only one unoccupied trailer in an accessory private garage building or in any rear yard is permitted, provided that no living quarters shall be maintained or any business practiced in the trailer while each such trailer is so parked or stored.

Any person who shall violate this section or any of its provisions shall, upon conviction thereof, be liable to the penalty stated in Chapter 1, Section 1-5.
