Editor's Note: This local law also repealed former Art. II,
Deputy Building Inspectors, adopted 11-7-2018 by L.L. No. 3-2018.
Deputy Building Inspectors of the Town of Lockport shall be
a resident and an elector of any municipality within the County of
Niagara.
This article supersedes Town Law § 23, Subdivision
1, and Public Officers Law § 3, Subdivision 1, and § 30,
Subdivision (1)(d).
This article is enacted pursuant to the New York State Constitution, Article IX, Section 2(c)(1) and Municipal Home Rule Law § 10, Subdivisions 1(ii)(a)(1) and 1(ii)(d)(3).
