In accordance with the Act[1] and this article, the Edgmont Township Building Code, as amended, is hereby further amended by adopting and implementing the regulations, standards and requirements of Appendix F, "Passive Radon Gas Control," of the 2015 International Residential Code, as set forth on Exhibit A[2] attached hereto and made a part hereof, and incorporating the same into and as a part of the Edgmont Township Building Code.

Except as expressly modified in this article, the provisions of the Edgmont Township Building Code, as amended, shall remain in full force and effect and shall be unaffected by the adoption of this article.
The Board of Supervisors shall, consistent with the Act and the amendments to the Uniform Construction Code adopted and in effect in the commonwealth from time to time, and the Edgmont Township Building Code, review such amendments and indicate, by official resolution, the uniform codes and/or portions thereof, together with any approved deviators therefrom, which are in effect within the Township as the current Edgmont Township Building Code.[1]
