The City shall have six Aldermanic districts. Each Aldermanic district shall consist of two wards, designated as follows:

The polls at any election shall be open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Whenever three or more candidates file nomination papers for a City office, a primary to nominate candidates for the office shall be held.

The selection of two or more sets of officials to work at different times on Election Day shall be allowed, and the Clerk or his/her designee shall be permitted to establish different working hours for different officials assigned at the same polling place.

A. 
This Municipal Board of Absentee Ballot Canvassers ( MBOABC) shall be composed of the Municipal Clerk, or a qualified elector of the municipality designated by the Clerk, and two other qualified electors of the municipality appointed by the Clerk for a term of two years commencing on January 1 of each even-numbered year [§ 7.53(2), Wis. Stats.]. All appointments shall comply with §§ 7.52 and 7.53, Wis. Stats.
B. 
The Clerk may appoint additional inspectors under § 7.30(2)(a), Wis. Stats., to assist the MBOABC in canvassing absentee ballots under this section.
C. 
The MBOABC shall canvass all absentee ballots for all elections held within the municipality at a location to be determined by the Clerk, to replace canvassing of absentee ballots at the polling locations under § 6.88, Wis. Stats.
D. 
The Municipal Clerk shall give at least 48 hours' notice of any meeting of the MBOABC under this section.
E. 
The Municipal Clerk, no later than the closing hour of the polls, shall post at the Clerk's office and on the internet at a site announced by the Clerk before the polls open, and shall make available to any person upon request, a statement of the number of absentee ballots that the Clerk has mailed or transmitted to electors and that have been returned by the closing hour on Election Day.
