The following words and phrases, when used in this part, shall
have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the
context or language clearly indicates or requires a different meaning:
Shall mean defacing, damaging, polluting, or otherwise physically
mistreating in a way that the actor knows outrages the sensibilities
of a person likely to observe or discover the action.
Shall be such property as is owned or is under the control
of the City of Shamokin.
Such rules, regulations, requirements, or instructions as
are established by the City of Shamokin for persons using or occupying
municipal property which may from time to time be established by the
City by resolution.
A.Â
All persons using the municipal property of the City of Shamokin
shall comply with all property rules and regulations. No person shall
vandalize, deface, damage, paint, or otherwise place markings upon
or cause damage to any municipal property or any equipment, building,
improvement or plant in or on any municipal property.

Weather and other conditions permitting, City playground and skateboard
parks shall be open from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. during the months
of April through October, and 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. during the
months of November through March. At all other times, these playgrounds
and skateboard parks shall be considered closed.

Any person, firm, or corporation who shall violate or cause
to be violated any provision of this chapter, or any property rule
or regulation, shall upon conviction thereof be sentenced to pay a
fine of not less than $300 nor more than $1,000 and, in default of
payment, to be imprisoned for a term not to exceed 30 days.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances which are inconsistent
herewith are hereby repealed.
If any sentence, clause, section or any part of this chapter
is for any reason found to be unconstitutional, illegal, or invalid,
such unconstitutionality, illegality, or invalidity shall not affect
or impair any of the remaining portions, sentences, or clauses or
actions or parts of this chapter.
