Town of Elbridge, NY Chapter 70 Terms of Office

[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Elbridge by L.L. No. 2-1977 (Ch. 8 of the Municipal Code). Amendments noted where applicable.]

§ 70-1 Term length.

The terms of office of the following Town officials be and hereby are increased from two years to four years:

A. Town Supervisor.

B. Town Highway Superintendent.

C. Town Clerk.

§ 70-2 Authority.

This chapter is enacted pursuant to Chapter 365 of the Laws of 1976 of the New York State Legislature.[1]

§ 70-3 Effective date.

This chapter shall take effect upon approval by the electors (voters) of the Town of Elbridge at a special election to be held June 2, 1977, and filing in the office of the Secretary of State.
