Borough of Sellersville, PA Chapter 11 Blighted Property Review Committee

§ 11-1 Creation and membership.

A committee, to be called the Blighted Property Review Committee, is hereby created. The Blighted Property Review Committee shall be comprised of the following five members:

A. The president of Borough Council;

B. A member of Borough Council who shall be designated by the president of Borough Council;

C. A member of the Sellersville Planning Commission who shall be designated by the president of Borough Council;

D. An individual designated by the Bucks County Redevelopment Authority; and

E. An individual designated by the Sellersville Borough Mayor.

§ 11-2 Chairman.

The president of Borough Council shall serve as the Chairman of the Blighted Property Review Committee and shall have the power to call committee meetings from time to time.

§ 11-3 Authority.

The Blighted Property Review Committee is authorized to perform all acts such a committee is authorized to perform under the Urban Redevelopment Law,[1] as amended, but shall have no authority to expend public funds or incur any debt on behalf of the Borough of Sellersville.
