All sections of the Land Subdivision Ordinance, Zoning Ordinance,
or any other ordinance of the City of Lambertville, which contain
provisions contrary to the provisions of this Ordinance shall be and
are (to the extent of such inconsistency) hereby repealed. The most
recently adopted ordinances and amendments shall prevail.
Pursuant to Chapter 115, Laws of New Jersey 1976, all provisions
of the ordinance known as the "City of Lambertville Zoning Ordinance"
adopted November 15th, 1971, and the ordinance known as "The Land
Subdivision Ordinance of the City of Lambertville" adopted March 1st,
1971, and all subsequent amendments to said ordinances, are readopted
to the extent that said ordinances are not inconsistent with the provisions
of this Ordinance, and shall continue in full force and effect and
shall be read in para materia with this Ordinance. Three copies of
the text of the to be readopted ordinances and accompanying maps are
filed in the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Lambertville
and are available for public inspection until final action upon and
adoption of this Ordinance and the readoption of said existing ordinances.
The Governing Body and Planning Board of the City of Lambertville
hereby declare that they have reviewed the Zoning Ordinance and the
Subdivision Ordinance and all subsequent amendments to said ordinances
and hereby further declare that said ordinance meet the requirements
of N.J.S.A. 40:55D-28 b. (2) and N.J.S.A. 40:55B-62 a.
This Ordinance shall take effect on February 1st, 1977.
Immediately upon adoption of this Ordinance, the City Clerk
shall file a copy of this Ordinance with the County Planning Board
as required by law. The Clerk shall also file with said Planning Board
copies of all other ordinances of the municipality relating to land
use such as the subdivision and zoning ordinances.
