The Finance Committee shall have primary responsibility for the following matters:
A. 
The administration, practices, procedures, records and ordinances for the person and office of the Tax Collector, Tax Assessor and Chief Financial Officer.
B. 
Foreclosure of tax title liens and the acquisition and distribution of the property acquired.
C. 
The development and coordination of departmental budgets and the final preparation, explanation and continuing supervision of the entire municipal budget.
D. 
Serving as the liaison between Council and Chief Financial Officer and Municipal Auditor and any other body or organization on fiscal matters.
E. 
Serve as Fund Commissioner for the Health Insurance Fund.

The Streets and Roads Committee shall have primary responsibility for the following described activities and matters:
A. 
The administration, practices, procedures, records and ordinances of the following:
(1) 
Street construction, improvement, maintenance and cleaning, street openings and maintenance of street maps.
(2) 
Construction of sidewalks and curbs, including ensuring that sidewalks are improved as part of Certificate of Occupancy and annual housing inspection of rental properties.
(3) 
Maintenance, cleaning, improvement and construction of municipal parking lots.
(4) 
Cutting of grass and weeds along streets and municipal property.
(5) 
Storm water collection and disposal.
(6) 
Snow removal and disposal.
(7) 
Collection and disposal of leaves and brush.
B. 
Acquisition, maintenance, repair and cleaning of all Public Works vehicles and equipment.
C. 
Monthly engineer's report for streets, roads and sidewalks.
D. 
Liaison to the Salem County Road Department and New Jersey Department of Transportation for streets, roads and sidewalks.
E. 
Liaison to all public and private transportation corporations including railroad, bus and truck.

The Public Safety Committee shall have primary responsibility for the following described activities and matters:
A. 
The administration, practices, procedures, ordinances and records of the following:
(1) 
Police department including vehicles, equipment and activities.
(2) 
On and off street parking, highway traffic and speed limits.
(3) 
Crosswalks and pedestrian safety.
B. 
Licensing and inspection of licensed premises for alcoholic beverage control, games of chance, amusement devices, hawkers, peddlers and transient vendors.
C. 
School security and liaison to the Woodstown-Pilesgrove Regional School District.
D. 
Crossing guards.
E. 
Reliance Fire Company.
F. 
Office of Emergency Management.
G. 
Fire Official.
H. 
Mid-Salem Joint Municipal Court.
I. 
Liaison to American Legion Ambulance Squad.
J. 
Liaison to Municipal Alliance for Prevention of Substance Abuse (MAPSA)

The Utilities Committee shall have primary responsibility for the following described activities and matters:
A. 
The administration, practices, procedures, ordinances and records of the Water Utility.
B. 
The maintenance of the water distribution system map.
C. 
Maintenance of the sewerage collection system map.
D. 
Monthly engineer's report for utilities.
E. 
Installation and maintenance of street lights.
F. 
Liaison to the Woodstown Sewerage Authority.
G. 
Liaison for all outside utility companies, such as gas, electric, cable and phone.

The General Government Committee shall have primary responsibility for the following described activities and matters:
The administration, practices, procedures and records of the following:
A. 
The office of the Borough Clerk/Registrar.
B. 
Housing Officer.
C. 
Construction Code Office.
D. 
Zoning Officer (including yard sale permits).
E. 
Planning Board.
F. 
Maintenance of all Borough owned buildings and property other than parks and parking lots.
G. 
Insurance matters other than health, including serving as JIF Fund Commissioner.
H. 
Website Committee.
I. 
Public relations including annual newsletter.
J. 
Liaison to Borough Solicitor.

The Health, Recreation and Open Space Committee shall have primary responsibility for the following described activities and matters:
The administration, practices, procedures, records and ordinances of the following:
A. 
Maintenance, operation and improvements of parks and recreation facilities.
B. 
Solid waste and recycling collection and disposal.
C. 
Serve as member of the Salem County Solid Waste Advisory Council.
D. 
Oversee Open Space funds and plans and coordinate with Open Space Committee. Make annual recommendation about Open Space Tax rate.
E. 
Animal control including animal shelter, licensing and annual rabies clinic.
F. 
Liaison with:
(1) 
Marlton Recreation Committee.
(2) 
Major community special events including Fourth of July Parade, Fall Festival and Candlelight Tour.
(3) 
County Health Department.
(4) 
Historical Preservation Commission.
(5) 
Shade Tree Committee.
(6) 
Woodstown-Pilesgrove Library.
(7) 
Joint Environmental Commission.
The Board of Health shall have the primary responsibility for all phases of public health. The Borough Clerk shall serve as the Secretary of the Board of Health.
