Parking Prohibited During and After Winter Storms Causing Accumulation of Snow or Ice on Streets. It shall be unlawful for any person to park a motor vehicle on any street in the Township at any time during which said street has had deposited upon it 1/2 inch or more of snow, or any accumulation of ice, until such time as the storm event(s) causing said accumulation has ceased and no further accumulation of snow or ice is predicted for the following 24 hours by local weather forecasts issued by or through local television or radio broadcasts, and until after the Township has caused said street(s) to be plowed and/or treated with salt or otherwise and the snow or ice accumulation has been removed therefrom and is no longer accumulating thereon as a result of continuing precipitation.

Penalty for Violation of Parking Regulations in this section. Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this Part, upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $600 plus costs and, in default of payment of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 30 days. Each day that a violation of this Part continues shall constitute a separate offense.
