It shall be unlawful for any person to place, deposit or permit to be deposited in any unsanitary manner on public or private property within the Borough of Woodstown any human or animal excrement, garbage or other objectionable waste.
It shall be unlawful to discharge wastewater without an NP-DES permit to any natural outlet within the Borough of Woodstown. Wastewater discharges to the Authority's wastewater facilities are unlawful unless approved by the Authority in accordance with provisions of this chapter.
Except as provided in this chapter, it shall be unlawful to construct or maintain any privy, privy vault, septic tank, cesspool or other facility intended or used for the disposal of wastewater.
The owner of any house, building or property located within the borough which is used for human occupancy, employment, recreation or other purposes, and which abuts on any street, alley or right-of-way in which there is or may be located a wastewater sewer connected to the treatment facility of the Authority, is required at the owner's expense to install suitable toilet facilities therein, and to connect such facilities directly to the proper sewer in accordance with the provisions of this chapter, within 60 days after date of official notice to do so, provided that the proper wastewater sewer is within 150 feet of the property line. This section shall not apply to any person served by a privately constructed, owned, operated and maintained wastewater sewer and wastewater treatment facility which discharges directly to a natural outlet in accordance with the provisions of this chapter and applicable state and federal laws.
