Original ratification by electors on February 23, 1965 and signed
into law by Henry Bellmon, Governor of the State of Oklahoma, on April
15, 1965
PREAMBLE
We, the people of the City of Weatherford, Oklahoma, exercising
the powers of the home rule granted to us by the constitution and
laws of the State of Oklahoma, in order to provide for more efficient,
adequate and economical government, do hereby ordain, ratify and establish
this Charter of the City of Weatherford, Oklahoma.
