Any person, firm, or corporation who shall violate any provision of this Chapter, by doing any act prohibited or declared to be unlawful thereby, or declared to be an offense or misdemeanor thereby, or who shall fail to do any act required by any such provision, or who shall fail to do any act when such provision declares such failure to be unlawful or to be an offense or misdemeanor; and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by fine and costs as provided for in Section 9-31 of this Code. Each day upon which a violation continues, shall be deemed a separate offense.
