a. 
The two municipal parking lots adjacent to the beachfront shall be designated as "Beachfront East" and "Beachfront West." Each of the permitted parking spots within these lots shall be designated with a number.

b. 
Parking in these lots shall be permitted on a first-come-first-serve basis. The hourly fee shall be determined by a resolution of the governing body of the Borough of Union Beach and must be deposited by electronic payment, bill or coin in the appropriately marked electronic parking meter. The fee must be paid immediately after the vehicle was parked and it must be deposited into the electronic parking meter designating the correct number of that parking space.

c. 
No vehicle shall be parked except within a single designated parking space where indicated by marked lines on the surface of the parking area or as may be directed by the police or attendant in charge of the parking area or by a control sign indicating the designated area to park.
d. 
No trailers, trucks or buses shall be parked in the aforesaid facility. No vehicle shall be parked within the entrance or exit to the aforesaid facility.
e. 
Upon application, the clerk shall issue Resident Parking Permit Decals to all borough residents, free of charge. Resident Parking Permit Decals are nontransferable from person to person or vehicle to vehicle. Vehicles with said decals shall not be charged a fee to park.
f. 
Residents must produce two types of proof that they are a Union Beach resident to receive a resident parking permit decal. Resident parking decals shall be valid for a two-year period determined by the Borough Clerk.

g. 
Residents must present a valid registration for each vehicle application.
h. 
Residents must affix the Resident Parking Permit Decal to the rear bumper on the driver's side.
i. 
The Resident Parking Permit Decal shall be visible so the parking attendant can clearly see it.
j. 
Residents shall be entitled to one Resident Parking Permit Decal for each vehicle registered to them.
k. 
In the event a resident purchases a new vehicle he/she must make every effort to remove the Resident Parking Permit Decal and return it to the Clerk's Office when applying for a new Resident Parking Permit Decal for the new vehicle.
l. 
East Point Beach Parking.
1. 
East Point Beach Parking is the gravel covered area at the intersection of Dock and Front Streets.
2. 
This area shall be marked with spaces, and signs shall be erected stating, Parking Marked Spaces Only. Failure to park in a marked space shall constitute a violation of this section.
3. 
Penalty. For violation of this section not less than $50 nor more than $200.

a. 
In the case of a violation of any provision of Section 8-1, the person so parking and the owner of the vehicle shall be liable to a fine of not more than $500 or 90 days in the County jail, or both.
b. 
Payment of such fine may be made to the Court Violation Clerk of the Borough Municipal Court upon a plea of guilty, unless "Court Appearance Required" is marked. Except in such case, the amount of fine will be designated on the complaint.
c. 
Any vehicle parked in any such parking area in violation of Section 8-1 may be removed from the parking area upon order of any police officer, and the owner thereof shall pay the reasonable cost of such removal and storage which may result from such removal before being allowed to regain possession of the vehicle, and such costs of removal and storage shall be in addition to any penalty or fine hereinabove provided.

a. 
The municipal parking lot within Columbia Avenue Park is situated on borough owned property known as Lot 8 Block 189 on the current (2017) Municipal Tax Map at the southwest corner of Columbia Avenue and Union Avenue.
b. 
No vehicles shall be parked except within a single designated parking space where indicated by marked lines on the surface of the parking lot.
c. 
No trailers shall be parked in the aforesaid lot.
d. 
Time limited Parking. No vehicles shall be parked for longer than three hours in the Columbia Avenue Park parking lot.
e. 
Overnight Parking. It shall be unlawful to park a vehicle in the Columbia Avenue Park parking lot between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
f. 
Any violations of the provisions of the within Section 8-3 will be subject to the fines and penalties contained in Chapter 8, Section 8-2 Violations and Penalties of the Revised General Ordinances of the Borough of Union Beach, 1980.

The municipal parking lot within Firefighter’s Park is situated on Borough-owned property known as Lots 3.01, 3.02, 4 and 5, Block 29, on the current (2017) municipal tax map on the northerly side of Front Street.
b. 
No vehicles shall be parked except within a single designated parking space where indicated by marked lines on the surface of the parking lot.
c. 
No trailers shall be parked in the aforesaid lot.
d. 
Overnight parking. It shall be unlawful to park a vehicle in the Firefighter’s Park parking lot between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
e. 
Any violations of the provisions of the within § 8-4 will be subject to the fines and penalties contained in Chapter 8, § 8-2, Violations and Penalties, of the Revised General Ordinances of the Borough of Union Beach, 1980.
