In accordance with the authority granted to the Borough in accordance
with Section 2721(a) and Section 2722(d) of the Borough Code [8 Pa.C.S.A.
§ 2721(a) and 8 Pa.C.S.A. § 2722(d), respectively],
Council does hereby establish a five-member Shade Tree Commission
and does delegate the exclusive care, custody and control of shade
trees and authorization to plant, transplant, remove, maintain, and
protect shade trees on the streets and highways in the Borough.
All ordinances and resolutions inconsistent with this ordinance
are hereby repealed.
This chapter shall become effective as provided for in Borough
Code, 8 Pa.C.S.A. § 3301.1(b).
