No person, firm or corporation shall keep any pig or hog at any place within the limits of the Borough of Mount Holly Springs, nor shall any person, firm or corporation maintain any pig pen or hog pen at any place therein, under penalty, upon conviction thereof by a Magisterial District Judge, of a fine of not more than $1,000 and costs of prosecution, for each and every violation of any of the provisions of this article, and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, to imprisonment in the Borough correctional facility for a period not exceeding 10 days or to the county correctional facility for a period not exceeding 30 days. Provided: each day's continuance of a violation of any of the provisions of this article shall constitute a separate violation.
