The Borough has engaged in shared services agreements with the
Township of West Deptford and the City of Woodbury, respectively,
whereby the Township of West Deptford and the City of Woodbury will
provide construction code, housing and zoning services with respect
to properties within the Borough of Woodbury Heights.

Inspections.

Temporary certificate of occupancy. There shall be no fee for
a temporary certificate of occupancy. Temporary certificates may be
issued for a six-month period, and not more than one six-month extension
granted.

Reinspection. For each reinspection of plumbing caused by the
failure of the licensee to comply with the provisions of the subcode
and the permit issued, a fee of $25.

Annual permit. Annual permits shall be permitted in accordance
with the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code, N.J.A.C. 5:23-2.14.
The fee shall be $250 per maintenance worker, engaged in work that
is governed by a subcode and employed by the facility. A training
registration fee of $140 per subcode for each trainee shall be charged.

Surcharge fee on new construction. In order to provide for the
training, certification and technical support programs required by
the Uniform Construction Code Act and the regulations, the enforcing
agency shall collect, in addition to the fees specified above, a surcharge
fee of $0.0006 per cubic foot of volume of new construction. Said
surcharge fee shall be remitted to the Bureau of Housing Inspections,
Department of Community Affairs, on a quarterly basis for the fiscal
quarter ending September 30, December 31, March 31 and June 30 and
not later than one month next succeeding the end of the quarter for
which it is due. In the fiscal year in which the regulations first
become effective, said fee shall be collected and remitted for the
third and fourth quarters only.
