Borough of Woodbury Heights, NJ Article IIA Fire Lanes

§ 104-10.1 Woodbury Heights Plaza Shopping Center, West Road; violations and penalties.

A. Whenever any words and phrases are used in this Article, the meanings respectively ascribed to them in Chapter 1 of Title 39 of the Revised Statutes of New Jersey shall be deemed to apply to such words and phrases herein.

B. Parking shall be prohibited on either side of the traffic roadway known and designated as "West Road" in the parking complex of the Woodbury Heights Plaza Shopping Center, along the entire curbline of 627.5 feet in front of the buildings constituting said shopping center and from the end of the curbline an additional 15 feet in a southerly direction toward Moore Street for a total of 642.5 feet.

C. Pavement markings; signs.

(1) All curbing around the building as designated in Subsection B above, shown on the map as West Road, shall be painted yellow.

(2) West Road, as shown on said map, shall be a thirty-foot-wide, two-way traffic road, lanes to be designated by a white center line to designate two-way traffic.

(3) "No Parking-Fire Zone" signs shall be placed on each end of the curbline of 642.5 feet described in Subsection B above.

D. A map dated February 18, 1970, and entitled "Plan of Parking and Traffic Control of the Woodbury Heights Plaza Shopping Center at Mantau Avenue between Alliance Street and Moore Street" is on file in the office of the Clerk of the Borough of Woodbury Heights and is hereby made part of this section.

E. Unless another penalty is expressly provided by the New Jersey Statutes, every person convicted of a violation of any provision of this section, or any supplement thereto, shall be liable to a penalty of not less than $20 nor more than $100 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 15 days, or both.

F. This section shall be known and cited as the "Traffic Ordinance for the Woodbury Heights Plaza Shopping Center, Woodbury Heights, New Jersey."
