The City of Allentown, pursuant to the Pennsylvania Construction Code Act, 45 of 1999, 35 P.S. § 7210.101 to 7210.1103, as may be amended from time to time and its regulations, hereby adopts the Uniform Construction Code, contained in 34 Pa. Code Chapters 401 to 405, as may be amended from time to time, as the Building Code of the City of Allentown, and hereby elects to administer and enforce the provisions of the same.

The following local amendments which were adopted prior to July 1, 1999, shall continue in effect, and that International Building Code Amendments, International Plumbing Code Amendments, International Electrical Code Amendments, and International Fire Code Amendments, include these amendments and read as follows.[1]

The City of Allentown hereby designates the Bureau of Building Standards and Safety and the Fire Department to administer this chapter.
The following shall be added as Section 395.07, Uniform Construction Code State-Mandated Fee, and the remainder of the sections shall be numbered accordingly:
