Any person or company responsible for any fire, leak or spill must provide reimbursement in accordance with the schedule below for services rendered or materials expended by any recovery company, towing company, municipal agency or other technical assistance called for by the Fire Department to handle such incident.
SCHEDULE OF REIMBURSEMENT FEES
A.
EXPENDABLE MATERIALS:
Prevailing rate expendable equipment, materials and supplies.
B.
VEHICLE AND PERSONNEL CHARGES:
(1) Use of fire vehicles - $50.00 per hour;
(2) Mitigating service - $75.00 flat rate;
(3) Use of Fire Department personnel - $50.00 per hour, per firefighter, minimum two firefighters.
C. PENALTY AND FINES. Any person or entity which fails to reimburse the City the entire amount of the control and clean-up costs within 45 days after the receipt of the bill shall be subject to a fine of not less than $50.00 nor more than $1,000.00 per day for each day payment has not been made.
This Schedule of Reimbursement Fees may be amended in the future by resolution of the Mayor and Council of the City of South Amboy without the necessity of ordinance passage procedure.
Any and all reimbursement funds paid pursuant to this Section 10-1 shall be paid directly to the City of South Amboy and held for the benefit of the Fire Department.

A. 
For the performance of marriage and civil union ceremonies by the Mayor, or Deputy Mayor, when authorized by the Mayor, the participants shall pay a fee to the City of South Amboy in the amount of $150.00. If one of the participants is a South Amboy resident, the fee shall be $100.00.
B. 
The fee shall be collected prior to the performance of the ceremony.

A. 
For a service specified in this Section 10-3, notaries public, in the course of their employment by the City of South Amboy, shall collect a fee, payable to the City of South Amboy, as follows:
(1) 
For administering an oath or taking an affidavit, $2.50.
(2) 
For taking proof of a deed, $2.50.
(3) 
For taking all acknowledges, $2.50.
(4) 
For administering oaths, taking affidavits, taking proofs of a deed, taking acknowledgements of the grantors and the transfer of real estate, regardless of the number of such services performed in a single transaction to transfer real estate, $15.00.
(5) 
For administering oaths, taking affidavits and taking acknowledgements of the mortgagors in the financing of real estate, regardless of the number of such services performed in a single transaction to finance real estate, $25.00.
B. 
The fees for administering an oath or taking an affidavit; for taking proof of a deed and for all acknowledgements, and for which a fee of $2.50 is charged, are hereby waived for citizens of the City of South Amboy, aged 65 years or older.
C. 
The above fees are in accordance with N.J.S.A. 22A:4-14.

A. 
The following fees and costs shall be charged by the City of South Amboy Police Department:
(1) 
Motor Vehicle Accident Reports: In accordance with the charges fixed by N.J.S.A. 39:4-131 and N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5.
(2) 
Arrest, Investigative and Other Written Records and Reports:

Subject to a minimum charge of $15.00 per request, which includes 1/2 hour of administrative and research time. After the first 1/2 hour of research time, administrative fee of $20.00 per hour shall be charged, in addition to the aforesaid charges.
(3) 
Copies of a Video Tape: $50.00 per video.
(4) 
Copies of Audio Cassette: $25.00 per audio cassette.
(5) 
Reports requested other than by personal appearance: Copy fees plus $5.00 (N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5).
(6) 
Whenever the nature, format, manner of collation, or volume of a government record embodied in the form of printed matter to be inspected, examined, or copied pursuant to this section is such that the record cannot be reproduced by ordinary document copying equipment in ordinary business size or involves an extraordinary expenditure of time and effort to accommodate the request, the public agency may charge, in addition to the actual cost of duplicating the record, a special service charge that shall be reasonable and shall be based upon the actual direct cost of providing the copy or copies; provided, however, that in the case of a municipality, rates for the duplication of particular records when the actual cost of copying exceeds the foregoing rates shall be established in advance by ordinance. The requestor shall have the opportunity to review and object to the charge prior to it being incurred. (N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5).

C. 
Redemption of tax liens.
(1) 
In accordance with N.J.S.A. 54:5-54, the Tax Collector shall provide to any party entitled to redeem a certificate pursuant to this Section (N.J.S.A. 54:5-54) two calculations of the amount required for redemption within a calendar year at no cost. For each subsequent calculation requested from the Tax Collector there shall be a $50.00 fee. A request for a redemption calculation shall be made in writing to the Tax Collector.
(2) 
In accordance with N.J.S.A. 54:5-97.1, the Tax Collector may charge a lienholder of a tax lien $50.00 for the calculation of the amount due to redeem the tax lien as required pursuant to N.J.S.A. 54:5-97.1. Any request for a redemption calculation shall specify the date to be used for the calculation, which shall be the date of the notice. Neither the Tax Collector nor the municipality shall be liable for an incorrect calculation. The fee paid to the municipality shall not become part of the lien and shall not be passed on to any party entitled to redeem pursuant to N.J.S.A. 54:5-51.

There shall be an annual fee for participation of senior citizens who are residents of the Borough of Sayreville in activities and programs at the South Amboy Senior Citizen Center. Said fee shall be $20.
