The Borough of Longport ("Borough") encourages the maintenance of public access points to tidal waters; and the Borough has developed, in conjunction with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, a Municipal Public Access Plan which requires, as does applicable law, signage advising the public of the areas available for public access.
A. 
The Borough shall develop and maintain signage at each street end public access point to tidal waters appropriate to alert the public of such access points.
B. 
The Director of Public Safety shall each year review such signage and confirm the adequateness of such signage.
