Note 1: For situations of building additions or a new use occupying
an existing building, if utilization of building space for production,
material storage and warehousing does not necessitate 3 spaces per
1,000 square feet, with justification provided by the building occupant
the plan commission may set the minimum parking requirement for production,
material storage and warehousing space at 2 spaces per 1,000 square
feet, while the minimum parking requirement for other building area
remains at 3 spaces per 1,000 square feet.
