A. 
Illuminated traffic control signs may only be approved by the Township Committee by way of ordinance.
B. 
The activation of lights on school crossing signs shall be activated for the time period in which the school crossing is staffed by a crossing guard. At all other times, such lights shall only be activated by a pedestrian push button for a period of no more than 30 seconds for each occurrence.
C. 
Pole-mounted illuminated traffic messaging signs that use illumination to convey a written message shall only be utilized at times and at locations authorized by the Township Committee by way of ordinance.
