A.Â
At all locations in the Borough where official traffic control signals
are installed, pedestrians shall obey the directions of those traffic
control signals and yield to oncoming vehicular traffic.

Pedestrians should use crosswalks where available when crossing a
street within the Borough.

Pedestrians are required to yield the right-of-way to vehicles when
crossing in the middle of the road.
D.Â
Pedestrians crossing an intersection diagonally is prohibited.
E.Â
Where a sidewalk is available for walking, the pedestrian must use
it rather than traveling in the roadway.
F.Â
Pedestrians using a sidewalk that is also shared by vehicles (such
as a parking lot entrance or alley) have the right-of-way.
G.Â
Any person, firm or company who violates any provision of this section
shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay the fine of $25, together
with costs which may be assessed by law.
