Any and all vehicles owned by the City of Hazleton, with the exception of certain police vehicles which may remain unidentified as long as state law shall permit, shall carry permanent insignia which shall identify said vehicles as the property of the City of Hazleton; such insignia shall be large enough and positioned so as to provide immediate identification from a distance.

Any and all vehicles owned by the City of Hazleton shall be equipped with municipal government license plates, with the exception of certain police vehicles as described in the preceding section.

No vehicle shall be placed into service until license plates are in place.
