The Director of each department shall be responsible for the personal property and supplies of the City within their department and shall prepare and maintain a perpetual inventory of such property and supplies. They shall file with the City Clerk a copy of such inventory from time to time during the fiscal year and shall make available to the Director of Administration a copy of such inventory to assist them in the preparation of the proposed budget ordinance. They shall furnish a copy of such inventory to the Council upon request.

All general fixed assets shall be inventoried, and a log shall be maintained of all fixed assets.
The log should be updated and verified by physical count in a manner that allows each item to be physically verified at least once every three years.
