How Proposed
10-1-1.
Town by-laws may be proposed in warrant article form under the General Laws and section
2-5-1.
Section 2
How Adopted and Revised
10-2-1.
Adoption of a new town by-law or town by-law revision shall be by a two- thirds vote of those voting at an annual or special town meeting.
Section 3
Revision and Publication
10-3-1.
The select board shall ensure that the town by-laws are reviewed and prepared for any necessary revision at least every 5 years.
10-3-2.
The town clerk shall codify and republish the town by-laws every 5 years. Copies shall be made available to all registered voters who request them.
Section 4
Continuation of Town By-Laws
10-4-1.
All special acts, town by-laws, town meeting resolutions, rules and regulations of the town in force at the time this charter takes effect, not inconsistent with this charter, shall continue in force.
