No goods, wares, merchandise or other personal property shall be sold at auction in the City except for auction sales conducted under any judicial order, process or authority, nor to action sales not conducted for business or personal profit by any benevolent charitable or religious organization.

It shall be unlawful for any person to conduct an auction sale of property on any of the streets, sidewalks or public property of the City, or on any open spaces reserved for parking, drives or sidewalks in any shopping center, supermarket or other place of business.

No auction sale shall be conducted in the City on Sundays or legal holidays, and no sale may be conducted after 6:00 p.m. or before 8:00 a.m. of any day.
