Town of Chesapeake City, MD Article III Animal Care and Control

§ 90-9 Adoption of Cecil County ordinance.

Chapter 142, Animal Care and Control, of the Cecil County Code, is hereby adopted and incorporated into the Chesapeake City Town Code by reference as if fully set forth herein.

§ 90-10 Repealer.

Any existing Town ordinances concerning animal care and control are hereby repealed only to extent of any inconsistencies with Chapter 142, Animal Care and Control, of the Cecil County Code. Any provisions in any existing Town ordinances concerning animal care and control which are not in conflict with the aforementioned Chapter 142, Animal Care and Control, of the Cecil County Code, shall remain in full force and effect.

§ 90-11 Fine or fee schedules.

The Town may, by resolution, from time to time, establish, revise, and adjust any fine or fee schedules with respect to this Chapter 142, Animal Care and Control, of the Cecil County Code, in lieu of the fine or fee schedules set forth in the Cecil County Code.

§ 90-12 Recitals incorporated.

The recitals to this article are incorporated herein and deemed a substantive part of this article.[1]

The title of this article, or a condensed version thereof, shall be deemed to be, and is, a fair summary of this article for publication and all other purposes.
