The office of Borough Code Enforcement Officer of the Borough of Old Tappan is hereby created. The Borough Code Enforcement Officer shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council and shall hold office for one year and until a successor is qualified.

The Borough Code Enforcement Officer shall perform the duties assigned to him or her by the Code Official.
