When an existing structure is to be altered or any increase in living space and a building permit is required, the Board of Health may require that the existing subsurface sewage disposal system be brought into compliance with all state and local regulations.
Any conversion of seasonal living space to year-round living or storage space shall require an upgrade to the septic system.
