It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or offer for sale, except from 8:00 A.M. July first to 12:00 Noon July fourth, any type or kind of fireworks or firecrackers within the corporate limits of this City.

Every person who shall sell or display for sale any fireworks or firecrackers shall display a sign or placard, in a conspicuous place, printed in bold letters not smaller than one (1) inch in height, the following:
SHOOTING OF FIREWORKS PROHIBITED IN BUSINESS DISTRICT, STREETS, PARKS, AND OTHER PUBLIC PROPERTY OF VERONA, MISSOURI

Fireworks and firecrackers shall not be sold or advertised for sale from any street, alley, sidewalk or other public property within the corporate limits.

A. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge or shoot any type of fireworks or firecrackers within the City limits, except as noted below:
1. 
Date. On any day other than July 2 through July 4.
2. 
Time. Fireworks may be fired between 10:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. July 2 and July 3 and from 9:00 A.M. to Midnight on July 4.

It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to discharge any fireworks, firecrackers or other like or similar contraptions or innovations within the City limits of Verona, except upon their own property or upon property whose owner has given his/her consent therefor.
