The Board of Supervisors of Moore Township has determined that elected Supervisors may not be appointed in an employee capacity for Moore Township. Supervisors may not be employed as laborers, secretaries, treasurers, assistant secretaries, assistant treasurers or in any other employee capacity whether permitted by the Second Class Township Code[1] or not. However, and notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, elected Supervisors may serve in the capacity as Road Master if so appointed by the Board annually at the Board's reorganization meeting.

If any section, subsection, sentence, or clause of this article is held, for any reason, to be invalid, such decision or decisions shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions thereof.
All ordinances or resolutions or parts of ordinances or resolutions, insofar as they are inconsistent herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed.
