The provisions of this article shall apply to all territory
within the city limits.

Fireworks.
Any sparkler, bottle rocket, skyrockets, torpedoes, squibs,
fire balloons, star shells, gerbs, firecracker, roman candle, smoke
bomb, or any other device used to obtain a visible or audible pyrotechnic
display, explosion, deflagration or detonation.

Any person who violates a provision of this article shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be subject to a fine in accordance with the general penalty provided in section
1.01.009 of this code.

Fireworks may be discharged within the city limits on the following
days and times only if there is not a burn ban in effect set by the
county:
(1) July
2nd, 3rd, 4th: 2:00 p.m. through 11:00 p.m.
(2) December
29th and 30th: 2:00 p.m. through 11:00 p.m.
(3) December
31st 2:00 p.m. through January 1st 1:00 a.m.
