The 2024 International Property Maintenance Code, including appendix A, copyrighted by the International Code Council, Inc., save and except the deletions and amendments set forth in exhibit A, attached to Ordinance 2026-01-09 and incorporated herein for all purposes, regulating all existing residential and nonresidential structures and all existing premises by establishing minimum requirements and standards for premises, structures equipment, and facilities for light, ventilation, space, heating, sanitation, protection from the elements, life safety from fire and other hazards, and for safe and sanitary maintenance within the City of Frisco (2024 International Property Maintenance Code). The 2024 International Property Maintenance Code, including appendix A, is made a part of this division as if fully set forth herein. Three copies of the 2024 International Property Maintenance Code are on file in the office of the City Secretary of Frisco being marked and designated as the 2024 International Property Maintenance Code. The deletions and amendments set forth in exhibit A to Ordinance 2026-01-09 are also located on Frisco's website under Development Services.

Any person, firm, corporation or business entity violating this division shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction therefor, shall be fined a sum not exceeding $2,000.00, and each and every day that such violation continues shall be considered a separate offense; provided, however, that such penal provision shall not preclude a suit to enjoin such violation. The city retains all legal rights and remedies available to it pursuant to local, state and federal law.
