The 2015 International Plumbing Code, and any appendices thereto, published by the International Code Council, Inc., herein referred to as the “plumbing code,” and which may be cited as such, a copy of which is on file in the office of the city secretary, is hereby adopted.

(a) 
The minimum number of drinking fountains for a mercantile use provided for in table 403.1 of the 2015 International Plumbing Code shall be none up to 500 occupants, and 1 per 1,000 thereafter.
(b) 
The minimum number of drinking fountains for a business use provided for in table 403.1 of the 2015 International Plumbing Code shall be none up to 100 occupants, and 1 per 100 thereafter provided that a common drinking fountain is located and available inside the building in accordance with the 2015 International Plumbing Code requirements.
(c) 
The minimum number of service sinks for a mercantile use or business use provided for in table 403.1 of the International Plumbing Code shall be none unless required by the department of state health services.
(d)
