(a) 
An individual or organization requesting a waiver of all or a portion of the rental rates and/or the required deposit for use of the following city facilities shall be submitted initially to the parks and recreation director for recommendation:
(1) 
Park pavilion rental.
(2) 
Northwest Park fees.
(3) 
Community Center rental.
(4) 
Lawdwin Ball Field rental.
(5) 
Law Enforcement Center community room fees.
(6) 
City council chambers fees.
(7) 
Bridgeport city pool fees.
(8) 
Bridgeport Stage fees.
(b) 
Upon a positive recommendation from the parks and recreation director, the city manager or the mayor may administratively approve a request to waive all or a portion of the rental rates and/or the required deposits for use of the city facilities set forth above for special events. The city manager or the mayor may choose to bring the waiver request to the city council for consideration and action. If the city manager or mayor denies administrative approval of the request for a fee waiver, the applicant may appeal the decision to the city council by filing a written appeal to the city secretary within three (3) days of the denial. The decision of the city council shall be final.
(c) 
Requests for administrative approval of fee waivers shall be limited to one per year. Additional requests for fee waivers shall be presented to the city council for consideration and action.

(a) 
Overdue fines:
(1) 
Books/magazines/nonfiction DVDs: $0.10 per day to a maximum of $20.00.
(2) 
Books on CD and audiotapes: $0.10 per day to a maximum of $20.00.
(3) 
Fiction DVDs and videotapes: $1.00 per day to a maximum of $20.00.
(4) 
Maximum amount of fine is contingent on return of the item in good condition.
(b) 
Lost or damaged beyond repair materials:
The list price of the replacement item, to be waived if the patron provides a new copy in an identical format.
(c) 
Replacement library card:
$1.00.
(d) 
Missing or damaged barcode:
$1.00.
(e) 
Lost or damaged DVD/video case:
$2.00.
(f) 
Lost or damaged media case (book on CD):
$5.00.
(g) 
Lost or damaged DVD/video/media case cover insert:
$2.00.
(h) 
Interlibrary loan:
Cost of return postage.
(i) 
Copier:
$0.20 per page, $0.35 for two-sided.
(j) 
Facsimile:
$1.00 first page, $0.50 each additional page, to phone numbers within the U.S. only.
(k) 
Meeting room rental:
(1) 
Personal use: $25.00 per event per day.
(2) 
Business use: $50.00 per event per day.
(3) 
Deposit: A deposit not to exceed $50.00 per event shall be charged with said deposit being returned to the renter upon leaving the facilities undamaged and in an appropriate condition, to include but not limited to all trash picked up and deposited in dumpster, floors swept and mopped, if needed, lights turned off, doors locked and restrooms left clean.

Rental and deposit fees will be waived for nonprofit organizations.

The city council hereby establishes a rental rate of $50.00 per day for rental of the park pavilion.
(b) 
A deposit not to exceed $100.00 shall be charged with said deposit being returned to the renter upon leaving the facilities in an appropriate condition, to include but not be limited to all trash picked up, lights turned off, doors locked and restrooms satisfactorily cleaned.

Anyone who is purchases the day pass through the city's online software will receive a $5.00 discount per vehicle.

Recreational vehicle (RV):
(A) 
Nonresidents: $10.00.
(B) 
Residents: $5.00.
(5) 
Overnight camping:
$15.00 per vehicle.
(6) 
The city council hereby establishes a rental rate of $50.00 per day for rental of the Northwest Park Pavilion.
(7) 
The city council hereby establishes a rental rate to be determined by the city for rental of the Northwest OHV Park.
(8) 
The city council hereby establishes an annual pass to Northwest OHV Park which will cover the cost of entry for one (1) vehicle per day. This fee will be set at $250.00 for regular rate and $200.00 for discounted rate. Discounted rates are for city residents and employees, active military and veterans, and pre-arranged groups of 50 or more vehicles.

shall have free use of the city council chambers during normal city business hours only, and subject to the availability and priority use by any organization affiliated with the city.

$50.00 per event per day, and subject to the availability and priority use by any organization affiliated with the city.

Nonprofit organizations.
Nonprofit organizations will have free use of the city council chambers, but the deposit as described below shall be required, and subject to the availability and priority use by any organization affiliated with the city.
