It shall be unlawful for any person or firm to perform the work of a parkway contractor, as defined in section 3.12.061, "definition" of the Code of Ordinances, without first having registered with the city annually. The fee shall be thirty dollars ($30.00), payable at the time of registration. Further, for each job the parkway contractor shall obtain a permit, from the director of public works, the fee for which shall be fifty dollars ($50.00) to do such work.
