Applications shall be made to the city secretary and accompanied
by a nonrefundable fee of twenty dollars ($20.00).

There is hereby levied upon each and every dog more than six
(6) months of age which is kept, harbored or maintained by the owner
thereof in the corporate limits of the city an annual license fee
of two dollars ($2.00), which license fee is due before the 1st day
of April of each year for which it is paid.

The owner of any licensed dog impounded may redeem such dog
any time prior to sale or destruction by the payment of twenty-five
dollars ($25.00) impounding fee and five dollars ($5.00) per day for
each day such dog shall have been impounded for the first impoundment,
$40.00 plus $5.00 per day or any part of a day for the second impoundment
of the same dog, and $75.00 plus $5.00 per day or any part of a day
for subsequent impoundments of the same dog.

The owner of any unlicensed dog impounded may redeem such dog
at any time prior to sale or destruction by having such dog duly licensed,
vaccinated against rabies, and the payment of twenty-five dollars
($25.00) impounding fee and five dollars ($5.00) per day for each
day such dog shall have been impounded for the first impoundment,
$40.00 plus $5.00 per day or any part of a day for the second impoundment
of the same dog, and $75.00 plus $5.00 per day or any part of a day
for subsequent impoundments of the same dog.

The owner or person in control of impounded livestock or fowl
may redeem the livestock or fowl by the payment of an impoundment
fee of $25.00 per head of livestock or fowl plus a $5.00 per day impoundment
fee for each head of livestock and fowl redeemed.
