Subject to the conditions stated in article 4.03 of the Code of Ordinances, any business in the city shall be entitled to install an alarm signal in such panel upon the payment of an annual rental of sixty dollars ($60.00) per year, paid in advance. Failure to pay such annual rental as due shall entitle the city to discontinue the service to such business place and remove the signal device from the panel.

The license fee for an itinerant merchant or itinerant vendor shall be thirty dollars ($30.00) for the calendar year ending December 31st. Provided, however, when any person, firm, company, partnership, corporation or association engages in any activity mentioned in section 4.04.041 of the Code of Ordinances through one or more agents or employees, such person, firm, company, partnership, corporation or association shall, in addition to said thirty dollar ($30.00) fee above mentioned, pay a license fee of ten dollars ($10.00) for each agent or employee so engaged. Provided further that fees for licenses issued during the calendar year shall be prorated on the basis of the remaining number of months, or fraction thereof, that shall remain before December 31st, with the minimum fee for the vendor to be fifteen dollars ($15.00) and each agent of the vendor five dollars ($5.00). The fees herein provided for shall be used for the purpose of defraying expenses incident to the issuing of said licenses.

The annual nonrefundable application fee for a sexually oriented business license is $1,000.00. The annual application fee for a sexually oriented business employee license is $190.00.

(a) 
Application fee.
Each application shall be accompanied by an application fee of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500.00).
(b) 
Extension of time.
Whenever a person holding a permit pursuant to the provisions of article 4.07 of the Code of Ordinances wishes to request an extension of the time within which drilling operations are required to be commenced to a period beyond one hundred eighty (180) days after the effective date of the permit, a request for such extension shall be filed with the code enforcement administrator in writing and be accompanied by a fee in the amount of one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125.00) for each well for which an extension is requested.

As consideration for the issuance of a permit hereunder, the applicant agrees to comply with all the terms and conditions set forth in article 4.08, and pay to the city a fee in the amount of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500.00), as reimbursement for expenses incurred by the city in connection with the issuance of a permit.

(a) 
Vehicle permits.
At the time of issuance of a franchise under the provisions of article 4.09 of the Code of Ordinances, the permittee thereof shall pay to the city secretary for up to five (5) taxicabs the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00) for the permits for each of such taxicabs. Thereafter, the permittee shall pay for additional permits two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) for the permits to operate six (6) to ten (10) taxicabs, three thousand dollars ($3,000.00) for the permits to operate eleven (11) to fifteen (15) taxicabs, four thousand dollars ($4,000.00) for the permits to operate sixteen (16) to twenty (20) taxicabs, or five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) for permits to operate twenty-one (21) or more taxicabs.
(b) 
Rates.
The city council hereby fixes, authorizes and establishes the following schedule of taxicab rates and charges. All taxicab franchise holders and drivers shall comply with and abide by the schedule hereby established:
(1) 
$1.40 for the first one-seventh (1/7) of a mile or less; $0.15 for each additional one-seventh (1/7) of a mile or less;
(2) 
No additional charge shall be made for luggage;
(3) 
For waiting time an amount not to exceed $12.00 per hour, provided the clock on the taximeter is set and regulated at a rate not to exceed $12.00 per hour.
(4) 
In the event two (2) or more passengers are going to the same destination, the driver shall collect only one (1) fare as recorded on the taximeter. If the passengers are going to different destinations, the driver shall clear his meter at the first destination and charge the first passenger the amount recorded on the taximeter, and proceed to the next destination as though it were a completely new trip. Other destinations shall be treated likewise.

The following fees shall be payable by applicants at the time of application for a short-term rental permit or renewal of short-term rental permit:

New short-term rental permit application: $300.00.

Short-term rental permit renewal: $200.00.
(b) 
The following fees shall be payable by applicants upon scheduling inspection for a short-term rental property/unit:

Inspection of short-term rental property/unit: $50.00.

Mobile food vendor permit fees shall be as follows:

Annual mobile food vendor permit:

New application: $200.00.

(a) 
The following fees shall be payable by applicant at the time of application for tow truck permit(s):
(1) 
Two (2) tow truck inspections and one (1) storage lot inspection: $400.00.
(b) 
The following fees will be payable for identification permits once application is approved:
(1) 
First identification permit: $10.00.
(2) 
Replacement identification permit: $20.00.
(c) 
The following additional fees will be assessed:
(1) 
$100.00 per additional tow truck inspection.
(2) 
$100.00 per additional storage lot inspection.
(3) 
$100.00 failed inspection fee per ordinance.

The following tow rates are approved within city limits:

Mandatory nonconsent tow (private and nonprivate tow): $207.50.
